This Privacy Policy explains what information Nocturnal ("we," "us," "our") collects when you purchase a product key from us, and how it's used. We collect the minimum needed to process your order and keep the store secure.

1. Payment Information

All payments are processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — they go straight to Stripe, who handle them under their own security and privacy standards.

2. Order Information

To deliver your License, we handle your Stripe Checkout Session ID and the product/tier you purchased, and pass these to our key-issuing service over a secure, authenticated connection so it can retrieve and return your key from our available stock. This information is used solely to fulfil and verify your order.

3. IP Address

We briefly use your IP address server-side to rate-limit checkout requests and prevent abuse of the store. It is not used to build a profile of you and is not shared with third parties beyond what's needed for this purpose.

4. Local Order History

For your convenience, your browser may save a record of your past orders and keys (via localStorage) so you can find them again later. This data is stored only on your own device — we do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to us.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't run analytics scripts that follow you across the web.

6. Third Parties

We share the minimum necessary order data with Stripe (payment processing) and our own key-issuing service (License retrieval and delivery). We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
